Open Heart

What does it mean to "follow" Jesus?  Does it mean that we go to church more often?  Say grace longer?  Act "holier"?  Sing louder?  We don't think so.  We believe that inherent in those words is a deep calling to live a different life.  That somehow following Jesus is more than wearing a wristband, but it is a calling, it is a way of life, it changes us to the core of who we are.it is Our Heart, and it needs to be Open.
1 Peter 2:9 it says, ".for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God's very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light."  We are all "royal priests".  We are all called to put God on constant display through our lives.  We are all called to live differently, to live with the understanding that we are God's missionaries and the mission field is everywhere.
Through "Open Heart" we will be joining together to help discover what our giftings, passions, and callings are.  It will be a time of self-discovery as we seek to get a clearer glimpse of what God has given us, what we love, and where we belong.
Join with us as we OPEN our HEART, and attempt to be ".a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world." - Mother Teresa.
