Kevin and Shannon spent most of their pastoral career in the lower mainland in British Columbia. They moved to Edmonton in 2002. After pastoring in church ministry for 11 years, Kevin and Shannon suffered a family tragedy. It launched them into a new direction to pursue a dream they shared for quite some time. The dream was to start a new church. Soon afterward, they became part of a formation team under the leadership of Ken Solbrekken.
City Centre Church began meeting in September of 2004 on the University of Alberta campus. What once was a team of 11 people meeting weekly in a living room has turned into this flourishing church congregation. The church grew so quickly that it was evident that we would need to hire someone to give leadership. Kevin became a chaplain at the University of Alberta and took on the part-time position as pastor of City Centre Church. In it's second year, the church growth required him to move full time to the role of Lead Pastor where he serves today.
Kevin and Shannon have four children - 3 boys and a girl (Kurtis, Kelsey, Kyle, and Kaden). Between family, school, hockey, and piano lessons they are an active family. They have a passion for living life to its fullest and sharing that with others. Kevin's passion is to speak to relevant issues from a very real perspective. His passion is to influence a generation to engage their faith in Jesus Christ into everyday life and challenge everyone to be REAL - it's a rawness of character many people enjoy. you can contact him at kevin@citycentrechurch.com

| Omar ReyesOmar serves as the Assistant Pastor he considers himself as the "Dwight Schrute" of City Centre! He was born in El Salvador and immigrated to Canada when he was only 5 years old. Having graduated from Vanguard College in 2002 he still considers himself a student avidly learning and re-learning what following Christ means. Before joining the City Centre crew he was a mildly crazy Youth Pastor here in the city. Omar felt like he was made the luckiest guy on this side of the prairies when he married Kelsey in 2007 at the Paramount Theatre! Things like music, movies, marathons, philosophy, controversy, pizza, shoes, books and undiscovered ideas both haunt and fascinate him. You can contact him at omar@citycentrechurch.com.

| Janine Lund-On leave: Hands at Work AfricaJanine was incredibly lucky to have been born into a solid Christian family with a lot of love to go around. For the first 15 years of her life, her Dad was a pastor, and through both him and her Mom she learned the value of Christ, and the importance of reaching out to those who are hurting or lost. Over the years Janine has had experience in practically every area of ministry and also been lead through some amazing doors of opportunity to touch the hearts of those around her. After working for several years in a very busy finance department, she felt the need to move onto a new job. Now working in the CCC office as the Admin/Finance, she has discovered that everything she's learned, both in the world and in the church, is coming together for this one position. Janine is greatly encouraged to see how God is moving at CCC and excited to explore her part in it all! You can contact her at janine@citycentrechurch.com.
