Latte Ministry
Excellence
The Rwandan coffee growers take pride in their coffee. The result is a coffee that is consistently rated at 90% plus in excellence.
Justice
Prior to Land of a Thousand Hills, growers in Rwanda are receiving as little as 40 cents per pround of coffee harvested. Today the growers receive upwards of $1.86 per pound. The coffee growers are able to provide for their families and send their children to school. Buying this coffee is not charity but rather justice.
Entrepreneurialism
Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee seeks to bless the work of the growers and also show mercy to people starting small businesses by providing micro loans. Widows receive $1 per bag of Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee sold.
Reconciliation
In the coffee fields of Rwanda, the coffee wash stations, the market places and the churches, reconciliation is happening. Hutus and Tutsis who were once killing one another are now working together towards rebuilding their lives and country. They are learning of the forgiveness of Christ and forgiving one another.
