Bridge Songs is a music and art experience spanning the weekend of June 17-19, 2011, featuring the production and release of a collaborative album, a live concert performance and an art show. This year Bridge Songs is produced collaboratively by iLoveArtists, Urban Bridge Church and City Centre Church.
The theme of this year's event is "?rogress" and explores the idea of moving forward personally, and collectively, as well as the questions that arise when progress is not made. The joys and pains of technology, the challenges of personal and spiritual growth, a nostalgia for the past and both hope and dread for the future offer rich territory for songwriters and artists alike.
2010 Fall "Enchant" Art Show

On Saturday Evening, November 27th, many of us had the privilege of experiencing some amazing Art, a killer DJ, and a fun little Silent Auction
Together, we raised $600, where these proceeds will be going directly to Pastor Antonette and her Community building projects in Belize. Also, we gathered a heapload of canned food which is being donated to the Edmonton Food bank.
A Thank you Message from Pastor Antonette, heading up the projects in Belize):
I just got your email as I did not have a chance to sit down until now. Praise God, I will go first thing in the morning. Janine, this is answer to my prayers. To God be the glory!!!! Just in time to assist us in our youth ministry trip to PG. I cannot express the gratitude to City Center Church enough. But I will say it from the bottom of my heart "Thank You" May God continue to bless our City Center Church families and I pray that we will soon meet in person. I would love to visit and personally give my testimony and personally express the gratitude. The monetary support will go a long way. Every penny will be use for the honor and glory of God.
We had two men that got baptized two weeks ago. On the November 23rd we celebrated 7 years God planted His church in our care. Today we are encouraged by your support and I know God will continue to open ways for us. Thank you, again and again. Please share this with the church family on Sunday. We recieve it in the name of Jesus Christ and may He give back to City Center Church a hundred fold.
God bless you my Sister.
Love in Christ,
Pastor Antonette

Art at CCC:
We believe art is similar to story telling:
Matthew 13:
The Disciples came up and asked, "Why do you tell stories?"
He replied, "You've been given insight into God's kingdom. You know how it works. Not everybody has this gift, this insight; it hasn't been given to them. Whenever someone has a ready heart for this, the insights and understandings flow freely. But if there is no readiness, any trace of receptivity soon disappears. That's why I tell stories: to create readiness, to nudge the people toward receptive insight."
We have a couple events we hold, that encourage the process, the sharing, and the creation of art.
ONE:
Sessions De Art:
We hold Communal Art sessions about once a month.
Artists join together, bringing their own supplies and projects that they are working on, and session in community.
TWO:
Art shows:
We hold a communal Art show twice a year.
At these shows, you will be able to view a variety of art, while hearing from the artists first hand.
You will also hear some amazing musicians, while sipping beverages and taking part in this festive event.
With each art show a new charity is chosen, where all the proceeds go to supporting them.
