About The Church

The Beginning

For nine months God formed our leadership team, and gave us the desire to plant a church in Edmonton that would multiply itself by raising up leaders and releasing many of them to plant other churches in the years ahead.  God pulled together 11 people with the same heart and vision that are now seeing the dream move into reality. We believe there is a strong direction from God to raise leaders in the community from our church.

A REAL Faith

We strive to be a simple, REAL community of people.  So, what does it mean to be real?

Relationships - We are committed to sharing life together.
Empowering - We want to help you discover God's unique purpose for your life.
Application - We live to be an example of Jesus Christ.
Life-Giving - We embrace the revitalizing work of God's Spirit among us.

City Centre at the Paramount

In July 2006, City Centre Church moved from the Telus Centre on the University of Alberta campus to the Paramount Theatre on Jasper Avenue. The move has challenged us and strengthened our ties with the community. Click here to see an excellent article by Lawrence Herzog about the history of the Paramount Theatre.

City South at the South Edmonton Common Cineplex Odeon

In January 2012, City South Church moved from the Celtic Hall on the south side of Edmonton to the South Edmonton Common Cineplex Odeon.  Our goal is to build intentional community as we learn how to love God and each other.  Come and join us:
